Session Times
Sessions available at Newtown Road Day Nursery
Session starting times: 7.45am, 8.45am and 12.45pm
Session finishing times: 12.45pm, 3.45pm, 4.45pm and 5.45pm
We serve snacks both in the morning and afternoon at 9.45am and 1.45pm. Lunch is served at 11.45am and tea at 3.45pm.
Childcare Vouchers
We are registered with several voucher companies such as Computershare, Sodexho, Accor and Fair Care and be happy to register with a new voucher company if needed.
Childcare vouchers are a government incentive for any parent to save on their tax and national insurance contributions against their childcare, with a registered childcare provider.
Tax-Free Childcare
The government are now offering support for working families, including the self-employed, in the UK if you have a child/children under the age of 12, or under 17 if disabled.
For every £8 you pay in, the government will add an extra £2, up to £2,000 per child per year.

Free Early Years Entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds
The school term after your child turns three they are entitled to 15 hours free early year’s provision. As a parent you have the right to choose where and how you access this funding. We will be happy to discuss your needs on an individual basis.

Free Childcare for 2 Year Olds
The government are now offering some 2 year olds funding the school term after their 2nd birthday. In order to apply your family must be in receipt of one of the following benefits.
- Income support
- Income Based Jobseekers Allowance
- An income related employment and support allowance
- The Guaranteed element of the State Pension Credit
- Childs Tax Credit and/or Working Tax Credit, provided the annual gross income is no more than £16,190 as assessed by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs(HMRC)
